Build Strength That Commands Respect.

Powerlifting & Strength Coaching for men who refuse average. Muscle, Discipline, Strength

About Me

I’m Thomas “Mahidog” Scanlon, an international powerlifter representing New Zealand.

🥇 Gold – Commonwealth Championships

But that’s not where this started.

I started as the skinny kid.

Weak.

Insecure.

Unknown.

Through disciplined training and relentless consistency, I built myself into an athlete capable of squatting and deadlifting over three times my bodyweight and benching more than double it.

I don’t coach theory.

I coach what’s been tested on the platform.

1:1 Coaching

Train like an athlete. Develop like a professional.

I work with lifters in person and online who are ready to build real strength — the kind that shows on the platform and carries into life.

You receive:

• Individualised programming

• Technical precision coaching

• Performance-based progression

• Online Community & Modules

• Structured accountability

• Direct access and support

This is for men who are done training casually.

If you’re serious about building strength that commands respect apply below.

Not ready for coaching? Start here.

TRAINING PROGRAMS:

These programs are built from competition-proven systems.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Build real, measurable strength
  • Add quality muscle without wasted effort
  • Structure your training like a serious athlete
  • Develop technical precision under heavy weight

This isn’t influencer-style chaos.

It’s structured progression, intelligent volume, and performance-driven programming.

Whether you’re new to lifting or chasing PRs, you’ll train with direction, not guesswork.

What people are saying

"I am most proud of winning nats as that was a long time goat. Also setting a massive pr total at the same bodyweight"

Cody

"My 110kg squat PR because from the advise mahidog gave me I would of never known my legs had the potential to squat that much I always though my legs were just genetically weak"

Drayson

" my big goals in the gym and the reason why i continued with powerlifting back then was to hit 3 big lifts, 100kg bench, 140 squat, and 200kg deadlift. And i’ve smashed those earlier in the year, after that however, i realised i can be a lot stronger that what I was back then"
